Resumen :	Since publication of the Institute of Medicine’s reportTo ErrIs Humanin 1999, patient safety and health care quality havebecome hot topics in the parlance of modern medical care.The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Educationnow requires integration of these topics into resident educa-tion, with evidence of trainee involvement in Patient Safetyand Quality Improvement (PSQI) projects. Research in otherdisciplines indicates that interactive, experiential learningleads to the highest quality PSQI education. Otolaryngologyas a field has been slow to adopt these changes into its resi-dency curricula due to competing educational demands andlack of faculty expertise. The author reports preliminaryexperience with integration of an online module-based curri-culum that addresses both of these issues
